Originally from Marseille, France, HeyMikey! grew up navigating the city's vibrant 14th, 3rd, and 5th arrondissements before moving to London, where he spent five defining years. This rich, dual French-English cultural background has deeply forged his musical identity, creating a unique sound that bridges the gap between Atlanta trap, UK influences, and the modern French rap scene.

Drawing inspiration from heavyweights like Young Thug, Hamza, Jok'air, and Ateyaba, HeyMikey! stands out with his hybrid universe. His music is characterized by soaring, ethereal melodies, flexible flows, and a distinctively avant-garde aesthetic. As a true outlier in the trap scene, he uses his UK and US influences to present a unique, well-traveled, and audacious vision of trap music — taking creative risks that few others dare to take.

The year 2025 marked a major turning point. His hit track "Steve Jobs" skyrocketed past 250,000 streams, propelling him into a European tour and the successful release of a new EP. Driven by his signature motto, "On va faire ça bien" (We're going to do this right), HeyMikey! is currently gearing up for his highly anticipated upcoming major project, Bara Muzik.
